Super Sonic Makes Its Debut In The Lego Universe This Summer

Lego has unveiled a trio of new Sonic the Hedgehog-themed collections debuting this summer, among them one that showcases Super Sonic for the very first time.

Super Sonic signifies the latest Lego Sonic character since the Knuckles, Rogue, and Shadow revealed last October, which are now accessible across various collections.

As with the original Sonic character, Super Sonic is paired with a swift-motion orb (in a vibrant yellow hue) to propel him towards adversaries and mechanical foes. It's part of a package that includes Dr. Robotnik's Egg Drillster, paying homage to his memorable gadget featured in the Emerald Hill Zone of Sonic the Hedgehog 2—place with caution.

The package, priced at £69.99 and featuring 590 components, additionally offers a Shadow the Hedgehog figure and a laboratory complete with a destructible barrier, among other statistics.

The successor in the new lineup is Knuckles and the Master Emerald Shrine, bearing a striking resemblance to the Altar of Emerald from Sonic Adventure.
Amy joins this collection, along with an Eggrobo foe and a training bag for Knuckles to utilize. This set is available for £29.99 and includes 325 components.
Lastly, in a surprising twist, we have the Tails' Adventure Boat collection. It's not often you see Tails guiding a boat or Sonic participating in parasailing, but there may be pieces of lore I'm yet to explore.

Included in this nautical-themed set is an acceleration orb for Tails in orange, complete with a singing machine and a place designed for dancing. Sonic also appears as a figurine alongside a miniature isle complete with coins and a lounge chair – all for £49.99 and comprising 393 pieces.
